Abstract Submissions
All meeting participants who wish to present either an oral presentation or a
poster presentation should submit an abstract. Abstracts MUST be received by
July 1, 2006 (extended).
All abstracts must be submitted on-line. Abstract submissions will include the
following: presentation title, authors (with an asterisk following the
presenting author), affiliation(s), and abstract text. The body of the abstract should
be no more than 300 words in length. Do not fax or land mail abstracts.
A meeting program and abstracts will be compiled and posted on-line at the
meeting website as well as printed and distributed to registered meeting
participants.
Oral Presentations:
Oral (PowerPoint) presentations will be 10 minutes in length plus 5 minutes
allotted for questions and answers. The presenting author will receive a
confirmation when the abstract is received. The presenting author will also
receive information indicating the day and time of the presentation by July 31,
2006. Due to the limited number of slots available for oral presentations, the
organizing committee may designate some participants as poster presenters, based
on the number of abstracts submitted for each session.
Poster Presentations:
Poster sessions will be scheduled throughout the meeting. Each accepted poster
will be presented in the afternoon and evening of one day during the conference.
The available poster boards are approximately 4 feet high by 8 feet in length;
push pins will be provided. The presenting author will receive a confirmation
when the abstract has been received. The presenting author will also receive
information indicating the day and time of the presentation by July 31, 2006.
