Conference Objectives
To enhance skills in radiographic interpretation of pulmonary disease,
and enhance radiographic and ultrasonographic interpretation of urinary
and gastrointestinal disease using plain abdominal radiographs, contrast
studies, and ultrasound examination.

Guest Speaker
Martha Moon Larson, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Moon Larson received her DVM in 1981 from The Ohio State University.
She completed an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York,
NY. She then did a residency at The Ohio State University where she also
completed her master’s degree. Martha has been a radiologist at
Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine since 1986 and
is currently a professor and section chief of Radiology. Her special
interests include thoracic radiology, abdominal and thoracic ultrasound,
and pancreatic imaging.

SCAAHA Officers
The K-State Student Chapter of AAHA is an organization whose goal is to provide veterinary students with knowledge and experiences dealing with small animals. They hold monthly meetings with guest speakers highlighting various aspects of small animal practice as well as several wet labs throughout the year.
Pets and People is a subgroup of AAHA providing educational and therapy opportunities. Pets and People activities include the Nursing Home Visitation program and the Education program which targets area elementary and middle schools.
