CO2 Laser Applications in Veterinary Medicine
– Tim Holt & Laura Miller (limited enrollment)
Laser surgery is an emerging technology with applications in veterinary medicine. This lecture/lab will highlight this exciting alternative to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures. Some of the proposed benefits include: less pain, less hemorrhage, reduced swelling, reduced risk of infection, quicker recovery, and improved patient outcomes. It will include: laser assembly and basic care, getting to know the laser and hands-on experience using innate samples with a CO2 laser. Accuvet/Lumenis
