Frick Auditorium is located on the second floor of Mosier
Hall. Enter at the Emergency Entrance. Signs will be posted to direct you to registration.
Parking
Parking is available on the west side (off Denison Avenue) and
on the east side (off Jardine Drive) of the Veterinary Medical Complex. A parking
permit is not required for weekend parking. Do not park
in the client parking or reserved stalls as you may get ticketed.

Barret J. Bulmer,
DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM-Cardiology
Assistant Professor, Cardiology
Dr. Bulmer received his DVM from Louisiana State University. He
completed an internship at Colorado State University and a cardiology
residency at the University of Illinois. Barret joined the faculty at
KSU in the summer of 2002 as an assistant professor.
Ruthanne Chun,
DVM, Diplomate ACVIM-Oncology
Associate Professor, Clinical Oncology
Dr. Chun received her DVM degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an
internship at Cornell University and a residency at Purdue University.
She was a clinical instructor in oncology at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison before joining KSU faculty in 1997.
Laura
Garrett,
DVM, Diplomate ACVIM-Oncology
Assistant Professor, Clinical Oncology
Dr. Garrett received her undergraduate and DVM degrees from the
University of Illinois. She did a 1-year rotating internship at the
University of Minnesota and then worked in a private referral practice
in the twin cities for 2 years. She next completed a 2-year residency in
comparative oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, after which
she spent 1-1/2 years at a referral practice in New Zealand before
coming to Kansas State University.
Gregory Grauer,
DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM-Internal Medicine
Department Head, Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Grauer received his DVM from Iowa State University in 1978. He
completed an internship, residency and a master of science degree at
Colorado State University. Subsequently, he served on the faculty at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison for seven years. In 1989, he returned to
Colorado State University faculty where he was Professor and Section
Chief of small animal internal medicine. Greg has also served as
President and Chairman of the Board of Regents of the American College
of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Currently, he is the KSU Clinical
Sciences Department Head. His research and clinical interests involve
the small animal urinary system.
Deborah
Hall-Fonte,
DVM
Resident, Small Animal Medicine
Dr. Hall is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She
completed a small animal internship at the University of Michigan and is
currently on the KSU faculty as a resident in small animal medicine.
Chad
Johannes,
DVM, Diplomate ACVIM-Internal Medicine
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Johannes received his DVM in 1997 from Kansas State University. An
internship at Colorado State University was followed by a year in
private practice in Lincoln, Nebraska. He then completed a residency in
2002 at the University of Missouri. Chad joined the faculty at KSU in
the summer of 2002 as an assistant clinical professor of small animal
internal medicine.
Lisa Moore,
DVM, Diplomate ACVIM-SAIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Moore graduated from University of Florida in 1991. She completed an
internship and medical residency at The Animal Medical Center in New
York City. Lisa went on to complete a third year of her medical
residency at the University of Florida and then returned to the AMC as
the staff gastroenterologist from 1995-1997. She was in private practice
in Tampa, FL before joining the Kansas State University faculty in
August 1998. Her primary interests are gastroenterology, critical care,
and respiratory diseases.
Thomas
Schermerhorn,
VMD, Diplomate ACVIM-SAIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Schermerhorn received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania.
He completed an internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates and went
on to complete a residency in small animal medicine at Cornell
University. He then completed research in Pharmacology toward a PhD and
joined the KSU faculty in 2001.
