The Practice Management Center is located on the fourth
floor of Trotter Hall. Enter at the Deans Office Entrance. Signs will be posted to
direct you to registration.
Parking
Parking is available on the west side (off Denison Avenue) and
on the east side (off Jardine Drive) of the Veterinary Medical Complex. A parking
permit is not required for weekend parking. Do not
park in the client parking or reserved stalls as you may get ticketed.

Guest Speakers
Cheryl Cross, DVM
Dr. Cross is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She did an internship at Prince
Edward Island and joined the KSU faculty as a medicine resident in 2001.
Ruthanne Chun, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Clinical Oncology
Dr. Chun received her DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of
Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at Cornell University and a residency at
Purdue University. She was a clinical instructor in oncology at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison before joining KSU faculty in 1997.
Tonatiuh Melgarejo, DVM, MS, PhD
Dr. Melgarejo is a graduate of the University of Mexico in Mexico City. He completed his
Masters and PhD at Purdue University and did an internship at Texas A&M. He joined the
KSU faculty after finishing an Internal Medicine residency at the University of
Pennsylvania.
Tom Schermerhorn, VMD, PhD, Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Schermerhorn received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed an
internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates and a residency at Cornell University. His
PhD is also from Cornell University.
