Travel Awards
A limited number of Travel Awards will be available to graduate students, post-doctoral associates and newly established faculty who give either an oral presentation or a poster presentation during the 24th Meeting of the American Society for Rickettsiology.
To apply for a travel award, you need to click on the Yes button at the bottom of Step 1 of the Abstract Submission Form.
Travel Awards will be decided by the ASR Executive Committee after abstracts have been submitted, reviewed and accepted.
This year travel award will include one year membership and full meeting registration fee.
All presenters must register and pay for the meeting registration and membership dues, in order to present at the 24th Meeting of the American Society for Rickettsiology. Please note that submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for the meeting. Online registration is a separate system from the abstract submission site. Registration fee and membership dues will be refunded to participants who are awarded the travel award.
REMEMBER: The Abstract Submission deadline is MONDAY, May 24, 2010!
