The 23rd Meeting of the American Society for Rickettsiology will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA. A block of rooms has been reserved for meeting participants at the room rate of $189/single rate or $209/double rate per night plus the $12 Resort Facilities Fee and applicable taxes.
Single rates are based on one or two adults per room, double rates are based on three or four adults per room. Children 19 years and under may share the same room with parents at no additional charge. Rollaway beds are available at $25 per night and cribs are free.
The resort facilities fee includes in-room wired high-speed internet access, 24-hour access to the health exercise facility, in-room coffee, daily newspaper delivery, unlimited island-wide calls, morning lobby coffee service, transportation to and from Shipyard Golf Club and Faces Day Spa on an individual basis.
Hotel reservations must be made and secured by July 16, 2009. Reservations received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space-available basis at the group room rate. Hilton Head Island is very busy in the month of August and rooms sell out fast. Be sure to make your reservations EARLY!
