This training will be led by AVMA disaster medicine specialists and will cover topics including triage medicine, decontamination, personal disaster preparedness and psychological first aide for responders.

Two groups of responders are invited to attend this training: KS SART’s Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (KVMRC) and Kansas Animal Health Department’s Kansas Volunteer Veterinary Response Corps (KVVRC). All Kansas veterinarians, registered technicians, and 3rd and 4th year veterinary students are welcome to attend.
